What’s New

Since I now have finalized my move over to my own domain with my own hosted blogging solution I would like to use the time to share with you what’s new here.

As of now, all of my other blogs (including my photoblog From 10 to 300mm) have been either set private or sent into the digital nirvana. The decision for such a step surely wasn’t easy, but it felt like a logical progress and now it’s time to go on here with my completely own blog without any technical limitations. Blogwise I will continue in the same pace as usual and you can expect also more audio and videoblog entries.

And then there’s of course the e-book…

…So far it progressed very fast and it looks great so far and I’m optimistic about a release on the 1st of September. More info you will find in my previous post.

It is surely too early for a summary of this year, but so far it has been very successful in terms of my photography. I have been driving around 10.000 km in my old and trusted Toyota to various locations in Finland, Sweden and Norway. The latter alone I had the pleasure to visit 3 times this year and it always had been fun and full of surprises.

This actually reminds of the fact that I’m way behind with my write-ups on these trips for my Photojournals. But the holidays are now over and my daily routine is slightly more organized now and I will have more time to spend on writing for the blog and of course to catch up with my ever growing back-catalog.

Besides nearby” locations, I have still three major locations for this year on my to-do list. Two of these are waterfalls in the north of Sweden and Finland, and one being a shooting at lake Inari in the north of finnish Lapland. Finding the right conditions, preferably in autumn-ish conditions and the time to do so, is of course a totally different story.

All in all, there’s a lot more coming in future and I hope you will enjoy your visit here.
